6. Deposits & Payments

Custom-built products may require a deposit before production begins.

The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment terms.

Ownership of products remains with Coast Canopies until payment has been received in full.

Late payments may incur additional fees where permitted by law.


7. Custom Manufacturing

Many of our products are manufactured or customised to suit individual customer requirements.

Once production has commenced:

  • Changes may not be possible.

  • Additional costs may apply for requested modifications.

  • Custom-made products generally cannot be cancelled or returned unless required by New Zealand consumer law.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all measurements and specifications supplied are accurate.


8. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance only.

Delivery dates may vary due to:

  • Manufacturing schedules

  • Supplier delays

  • Shipping disruptions

  • Weather conditions

  • Events outside our reasonable control

We are not liable for reasonable delivery delays.

Customers should inspect deliveries immediately and report any transport damage as soon as possible.


9. Installation

  • Customers must ensure the vehicle or installation location is available at the agreed time.

  • Additional work outside the quoted scope may incur additional charges.

  • Customers must notify us of any modifications to their vehicle before installation.

11. Warranty

Custom-made products cannot generally be returned unless they are faulty or required by applicable New Zealand law.

Returned items should:

  • Be returned in original condition

  • Include proof of purchase

Refunds are processed using the original payment method where applicable.


13. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Where you purchase products for personal, domestic or household use, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) apply.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights available under the CGA.

Where products are acquired for business purposes, the parties agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply to the extent permitted by law.
